Rainbow Ministries is a faith-based initiative designed to provide holistic alternatives to Christian living and attitudes by introducing new currencies of challenge to the status quo. The organization proposes to explore both the emancipatory and sustaining activity of God as it emerges in divergent communities of faith.
Christians are always in a fertile and constant dialectic in the expression of their faith, and to that degree, Rainbow Ministries seeks to regain a world-affirming God who exists in a God-disaffirming
world

With this commitment, Rainbow Ministries advocates open dialogue about a vibrant faith that includes discordant themes of liberation and emancipation to demonstrate prophetically that healing is possible in a broken world through a healing and compassionate community.
Vision Statement
The Christian community of faith can only find genuine existence in our world through human responsibility and moral rectitude, not as a condition of God's fulfillment, but as a demonstration of the meaning of the divine-human relationship based on trust. As inheritors of freedom, we seek an alignment of the constant and unchanging God with the authentic changes in human history.
Values
· We are the community of the risen Christ, therefore our understanding of the church is vacuous without a tenacious belief in the resurrection.
· We are a community of forgiveness, and believe that only those who truly know what it is to have been forgiven by God can share in the ministry of forgiveness.
· We are a community of transformation, and as such, we must be both a transformed community as well as a transforming
community. We are a community of sharing, subsequently the love of God means nothing to us unless we are actively engaged in giving it away.
Disagreement is not a barrier to dialogue, it is a test of our willingness to presume on each other's goodwill and to covet the best for each other.
